I’ve been thinking a lot about resilience lately, especially as I’ve learned more about the Maui fires. The resilience that the community is having to tap into in order to get through this horrible event.
Resilience doesn’t mean suppressing our emotions. In fact, acknowledging and working through these feelings is a form of resilience. It’s essential to find a balance that allows us to process our emotions while also navigating life’s challenges.
In this episode we explore:
- Fresh approach to resilience tailored for our community.
- Ancestral connections to resilience and its importance in survival.
- The need to recognize and process emotions rather than suppressing them.
- Tools and exercises to cultivate this new understanding of resilience.
