What if you could stop proving yourself and start truly prioritizing what matters to you?

YOU'RE ALWAYS SAYING YES

Is This You?

Even when you’re at capacity, it’s a struggle to set boundaries or say no.

You Feel Burnt Out

You’re exhausted more days than not, physically, mentally and emotionally.

You’ve Lost Touch with What You Want

It’s hard to articulate your own goals or desires.

You’re Feel Resentment in Your Relationships

As a chronic self-sacrificer, you’ve given so much of yourself without receiving enough and it’s taking a toll in your relationships.

You filter your choices through layers of “What will they think?”

Making decisions feels like solving a rubix cube of finding the “right” choice that makes everyone happy.

If you haven’t heard it from anyone else yet, your wants and needs are just as important as others.

Yes, even as important as your mom’s, your partner’s, your boss’s.

As the daughter of immigrants, I know the obstacles to putting yourself first.

  • Your family sacrificed so much for you, and you don’t want to be a burden by asking for more.

  • You feel so guilty whenever you say “no” because there’s a part of you that feels selfish.

  • You’re so used to being the “go-to-person” for everyone else that it’s hard for you to be the one to ask for and receive help.

These obstacles might have supported you in proving how “good” or “worthy” you are to others but now they are impacting your self-esteem, self-confidence, and stopping you from experiencing a life that feels good to you.

It's time to try a different way.

In this workshop series, you’ll learn the roadmap to go from proving yourself to making choices that center your wants and needs, with confidence.

Over two meaningful sessions, you'll discover where prioritizing yourself will have the greatest impact and how to overcome the key obstacles keeping you from putting yourself first.

Imagine having the tools to...

voice your wants and needs without apology or tons of guilt

have your own back on choices even when your family doesn't understand or agree

create the freedom to not be reliant on others' validation

Learn how to have your own back when you feel the pressure or guilt to continue deprioritizing yourself.

What You'll Gain

CLARITY

Understand what a “you-centered” life looks like and identify what area in your life that prioritizing yourself would make the greatest impact on your well-being.

confidence

actionable steps

Fill in the steps of “where do I start?” and “how do I actually do this?” so that you take action with confidence instead of being overwhelmed with uncertainty.

By the end of the series, you'll have a personalized success roadmap, a set of strategies to overcome at least 3 key obstacles to prioritizing yourself, and a 90-day plan for your top priority.

As a community of folks with immigrant roots, we often navigate a delicate balance between honoring our roots and pursuing our dreams. This series is about easing that tension, so you can move forward with clarity, confidence, and a deep sense of self-trust.

We want you to have more than just information and awareness. We want to equip you with actual tools you can put to use right away.

This session addresses the specific obstacles that prevent you from putting yourself first. Guided by insights from your Proving-to-Prioritizing Audit, we’ll explore practical strategies to overcome these challenges. By the end of this workshop, you’ll develop a plan to support yourself while following through on implementing your key priority in 2025, ensuring you stay aligned with your values and goals.

Workshop 2: Overcoming Obstacles & How to Have Your Own Back

It’s hard to prioritize yourself when you’re not sure where to start, what to focus on, and what the steps are. We’re going to tackle that in this workshop so that you know where to funnel your energy for the biggest fulfillment impact.

In this session, we’ll explore what a “you-centered” life looks like, moving beyond societal and cultural expectations. We’ll also identify the major obstacles that have been limiting you from prioritizing yourself. You'll transition from seeking validation to focusing on what fulfills you, and identify a key priority for the upcoming year to work on throughout the series. We’ll also introduce your Priority Project—a personal goal or initiative that prioritizes you that you’ll tackle in the next 90 days.

Your Impact on my Upcoming Book

This series is a sneak peek into the concepts and tools in my upcoming book.

After each workshop, you’ll receive a brief survey to share your thoughts. Your insights and feedback will directly inform the development of my book! By sharing your journey, you’ll not only benefit personally but also contribute to a resource that will support others in similar situations.

I'm a certified life & leadership coach who has coached hundreds of folks with immigrant roots.

I'm also a recovering people-pleaser who used to always put myself last.

I used to believe that my worthiness was something I had to earn through proving that I was good.

To me, this meant making choices that always put others' wants and needs before mine. I would voluntarily sacrifice myself if that meant that someone else would be happier, comfortable, or like me more.

I ended up living a life that depleted me. I tried so hard to prove myself but never felt good enough.

When I learned to prioritize myself, my entire life changed:
  • I created a career built on fulfillment rather than impressive titles.
  • I started receiving from my relationships, not just giving
  • I now love myself and who I am

I want to help you do the same.
